This survey aims to collect information on food and on physical activity at the national level and its relation with health determinants, namely socioeconomic determinants.
To develop an Information System to monitor food consumption and behaviors and physical activity will allow to respond to strategic priorities in health.
The use of methods harmonized by European Food Safety Authority will allow the comparison of indicators at a European level.
The target population is individuals living in Portugal, age between 3 months and 84 years old.
Data is collected through two face-to-face interviews, by trained interviewers with education on nutrition or dietetics, using an electronic platform.
